HARMAN OPALJET XL 300 uses a new generation, high-quality Alumina coating. It has been specifically developed for the latest pigmented ink printers such as the HP Z 6100, Canon iPF 9000 and Epson 11880. It offers the maximum colour gamut possible and gives ultra sharp, saturated images. This is particularly relevant, as pigmented inks tend to have a reduced colour gamut compared to dye-based systems. HARMAN OPALJET XL 300 also gives excellent results with all older pigmented ink systems e.g. HP 5000/5500's running with HP UV inks.
HARMAN OPALJET XL 300 offers the maximum colour combined with the stability benefits of pigmented inks. In addition the XL coating enhances the lay-flat characteristics of the film. This is particularly relevant where banner displays are exposed to extreme variations of humidity, often found in both trade show and retail environment
HARMAN OPALJET XL 300 uses an identical, Alumina coating as HARMAN OPALJET XL 125 with the same benefits in terms of exceptional image quality. The coating provides a particularly strong bond with a wide range of pressure-sensitive laminates, ensuring robust displays. Due to the excellent lay-flat characteristics of the XL coating, it is also particularly recommended for free standing banners.
